There are two installation methods for our rotating wood slats: one with a base and one without a base. Each option includes its own step-by-step guide so you can choose the style that best fits your space.

Installation with no base

The rotating wood slat divider installs directly between the ceiling and floor using metal plates and pre-drilled templates to ensure perfect alignment. Each slat is then inserted from top to bottom using the longest and shortest rods, creating a clean, secure, and base-free divider that rotates smoothly.

Installation with base


The rotating wood slat divider with a base installs using aligned top and bottom rails that are securely fixed to the ceiling and floor for perfect positioning. Each slat is then inserted between the rails using top and bottom rods, creating a stable, smooth-rotating divider with a clean finished look.

What material do you use?

We use Solid Red Oak wood. The rotating mechanism hardware is built directly into each slat for durability and smooth operation.

How can I calculate how many slats I need?

To achieve a fully “closed wall” effect when the slats are rotated, divide your total width in inches by 4". Always round down to the nearest whole number.

Example: If the width is 100", 100" ÷ 4" = 25 → You need 25 slats

Can I customize my order?

Absolutely! Our slats are available in lengths up to 120". We can cut them to any precise length below that. If your project requires top and bottom bases, our production team will reduce the individual slat lengths to accommodate the bases and achieve the exact height you need. All of our products are made-to-order. Custom orders typically take about 2 weeks for production. Shipping times vary depending on your location and customs requirements, but generally range from 3 to 10 business days. For standard orders, production usually takes 3 to 5 business days.

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping rates for custom orders vary based on location, size, weight, and material. Standard product orders include free shipping within Canada and the USA. Express shipping is also available for an additional cost.
